What’s in a Title?!

Spend a few minutes coming up with titles and see if it generates a spark or an idea. I found this idea or technique in The Pocket Muse and it has helped a l bit. A poem, the Ink Stained Heart category, and the forthcoming short story was spawned by this writing exercise. If nothing else it is fun to see what you can come up with on the spot. Who knows maybe you can create some sort of game with your writing friends based on the idea of creating only titles.

  1. I suffer from the reverse, about a dozen ideas all clamouring for expression at the same time. Sometimes I feel like a ring master trying to keep them in order. 🙂

    • I get that problem sometimes too. I welcome that problem over writer’s block though. Especially when the pen seems like it won’t leave you alone. You can’t seem to stop writing. I love that! What do you write?

  2. I don’t like to do too much writing. That’s why I write aphorisms. But when I decide to write I never have writer’s block.
