Canvas Poetry is in Week 3 of the Poememes challenge! For this challenge you’re including a personal credo or motto. You can use a favorite quote too. Don’t forget the art element!
For mine I used my “Love Write” credo. “Love Write” was a personal motto put I have also used it quite often as a salutation in many of my blog posts here. It fits me because I believe love is powerful. Unconditional love is pure love that can move mountains and dry tears. I added the “Write” as a play on words and a means to elude to loving unconditionally–properly! This motto echoes the “golden rule” yet utilizes my passion for the written word.
I created my above credo by using a 3 x 5 index card. I used washi tape for the textured background. The heart is from Heidi Swapp. The purple or amethyst color on the heart is Color Shine from Heidi Swapp too. The pen nib and the word “write” is from Tim Holtz. I love my idea-ology stuff, LOL!
